Fees & Policies

GETTING STARTED: If you are a new patient, please call me and leave a message with your name, phone numbers, and good times to reach you. When I return your call, we will speak briefly so that you can tell me more about the issues you are seeking help with, and we can determine whether we might work well together.

If our phone conversation indicates that we might be a good fit, we will schedule an initial session. This session will provide us both with more information about whether we want to continue meeting. If one or both of us feels we are not a good match, I can provide you with the names of other therapists who work well with your issues.

Fees

My standard fee is $135 for individual therapy and $170 for a couples/relationship therapy session. The standard session length is 45 – 50 minutes. I have several reduced fee slots and can sometimes negotiate a lower fee based upon income and financial need. You may discuss this with me, if it is a concern. If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I can provide you with referrals.

You should also be aware that I request payment by cash or check at the time of service, and I do not currently accept insurance. I can provide you with a statement for reimbursement if you wish to submit it to your insurance company.
