I don’t usually use my blog to plug other therapy providers, but if you live in the Bay Area and know someone who needs low-fee therapy, please let them know about the Argosy University Clinic in Alameda. They currently have openings for new clients.

The clinicians are a group of caring and skillful doctoral graduate students. They are taught and supervised by Dr. Mary Herget, one of my former (and favorite) graduate school professors.

Who They See

Individuals, couples, families, adults, adolescents, children, and seniors. They work with people of all ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.

Issues they Treat

Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Parent-Child Issues, and other problems

Fees

Sliding Scale: $1 – $50
No insurance is needed

Time

Wednesday Evenings in Alameda

Contact

Dr. Mary Herget (Clinic Director)
415-273-1121

I know there are a number of low-fee clinics in the Bay Area where you can get therapy services provided by graduate students-in-training. But the Argosy Clinic provides something that is very unique: the opportunity to work with a reflecting team. I feel so passionate about the therapeutic benefits of working with a reflecting team that I’m working on a separate post so that I can say more about what reflecting teams are and why I think they are an exceptionally useful experience for clients.

In the meantime, call Dr. Herget immediately if you’d like to be seen.
